January was the first official month of training for our upcoming trip to Bolivia. Overall I think it went really well. I did a lot strength training as well as some cardio workouts. We also tried to get out and hike or mountain bike on the weekends.
I did 2 days of strength training each week that consisted up circuit training. The focus was on body weight exercises and some push/pull exercises. I also did 2-3 cardio workouts a week that were 30 – 60 minutes in duration. As the training continues I plan to increase the duration of these workouts.
